Founded by Doris Stegmaier, the company is now headed by our managing directors, Martin Huber and Peter Scholz.

Doris Stegmaier founded the firm after working with the tax department of Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG) for seven years, four years of which were as an authorized representative (Prokuristin). The experience she gained during this time was fundamental in shaping the firm's global outlook. Ms Stegmaier has been working for the firm in an advisory capacity since 2020.

Martin Huber has worked with Stegmaier Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH since 2003 and was appointed Managing Director in 2018. He focuses on MPPs and SPVs.

Peter Scholz has been working with the firm since 2021 and was appointed as the second Managing Director in 2023. Prior to this, Peter worked at KPMG in an auditing and tax consultancy role for domestic and international financial service providers for ten years, two years of which were as an authorized representative / manager.
